Our founder, Dr. Trumble, first received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Organic and Analytical Chemistry in 1988 followed by a Master's of Science in 1992 in Biochemistry of Fat Energy Metabolism from Brigham Young University while earning awards for his research from the American Chemical Society. In 1994, Garrett completed his Doctorate in Biochemistry while working on fat and energy metabolism in a prestigious exercise physiology laboratory. During his studies at Brigham Young, he completed his research while teaching chemistry classes and performing research in the Department of Exercise Physiology for 5 years. During that time, Dr. Trumble gained additional expertise in energy fuel and fat metabolism in his research topic. He has published papers in several prestigious journals.

Since completing his Doctorate degree, Dr. Trumble has been an adjunct professor of chemistry, biochemistry, and biology at several of the colleges in the state of Utah. He has been heavily involved in the health and dietary supplement industry since early 1995 while working as a lead scientist and formulator for some leading companies in the nation. He has worked for companies such as Enrich International (now Rexall-Sundown), NuSkin, and Pharmanex, as well as held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer of smaller companies. Dr. Trumble has seen the successful design, marketing, formulation, and manufacture of vitamin and dietary supplement products for not only major retailers such as GNC, NBTY, but also several international multi-level marketing companies. You may recognize some of the formulation contributions of Dr. Trumble such as Neways Maximol and Noni products, protein supplements, as well as many Nuskin Pharmanex products and a popular collagen weight loss product called Calorad marketed by Essentially Yours International.

Dr. Trumble has received advanced certification for Dietary Supplement Good Manufacturing Practices in cooperation with the American Herbal Products Association, The Council for responsible Nutrition, The National Nutrition Foods Association, and The Association of Food and Drug Officials. In addition to many other associations, Dr. Trumble is a member of the American Chemical Society and the American Association of Biochemists and Molecular Biologists, which is a well-respected division of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology.

While working face to face with some of the nations largest companies in developing products, Dr. Trumble has also had the opportunity to give many lectures and presentations both domestically and abroad where international audiences of up to 10,000 people have attended. Dr. Trumble enjoys informing and teaching people about the benefits of correct dieting and effective supplementation as well as being involved in the development, formulation, and manufacture of healthy products.
